PLA Glow Filament — Glow-in-the-Dark, Easy PLA Printing

PLA Glow is a specialty PLA filament infused with luminous powder to create glow-in-the-dark prints. After exposure to light, parts emit a visible glow in low-light conditions—perfect for signage, nameplates, decorative accents, novelty prints, and safety markers.

It prints similarly to standard PLA, but the glow additive is abrasive, so proper nozzle selection is required.

Compatibility

• Printers: Most 1.75 mm FDM printers
• Nozzles: Hardened steel 0.4 mm or larger
• Build plates: Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI, Textured PEI
• AMS: Compatible (note: abrasive additives may increase wear)

Not compatible

• Stainless steel nozzles (all sizes)
• 0.2 mm nozzles
• AMS Lite

Recommended settings (starting points)

• Nozzle: 190–230 °C
• Bed: 35–45 °C (with glue)
• Storage: Keep sealed and dry with desiccant
