The Bambu Activated Carbon Air Filter is designed to reduce odors and VOCs generated during 3D printing, especially when printing higher-temperature materials like ABS, PC, and Nylon. It uses activated carbon to absorb airborne contaminants before air is exhausted from the printer enclosure.

Why It Matters

Materials such as ABS, PC, and PA (Nylon) release more VOCs during printing. This filter helps improve air quality by capturing those compounds before they exit the enclosure. PLA and other low-temperature filaments produce significantly fewer VOCs but still benefit from filtration.
