Bambu High-Flow Hotend (H2 / P2S) — Faster Extrusion, Bigger Nozzles, Less Print Time

Print larger parts faster without sacrificing consistency. The Bambu High-Flow Hotend is optimized for higher melt throughput on H2-series and P2S printers, making it ideal for thick layers, wide line widths, and strong functional parts. With Bambu’s quick-swap design, you can change hotends in minutes and keep downtime to a minimum.

Why choose the High-Flow Hotend

• Higher melt throughput for faster print speeds and thicker layers
• Optimized for larger nozzles (0.6–0.8 mm) and high-volume extrusion
• Stable thermal performance for consistent flow at speed
• Quick-swap hotend design for easy maintenance and fast job changes

Compatibility

• Printers: Bambu Lab P2S and H2 Series (H2D / H2S / H2D Pro)
• Filament: 1.75 mm materials supported by your printer (PLA, PETG, TPU, etc.)
• Abrasive filaments (CF/GF): use a hardened nozzle variant

Recommended use cases

• Large models, enclosures, and shells
• Jigs, fixtures, and functional shop parts
• Fast draft prototypes and short production runs
• Prints prioritizing strength and speed over ultra-fine detail

Available nozzle sizes (by variant)

• 0.4 mm — balanced detail and speed
• 0.6 mm — ideal high-flow performance for most fast prints
• 0.8 mm — maximum throughput, thick walls, and rapid infill

Install & setup tips

• Power off the printer and allow the hotend to cool fully before swapping
• Seat the hotend firmly and route cables/PTFE exactly as shown for your machine
• Run flow calibration and first-layer leveling after installation
• Increase line width and layer height (≈0.32–0.40 mm+) to fully benefit from high flow

Printing tips for speed & strength

• Use slightly higher nozzle temperatures within your filament’s safe range
• Increase wall and infill speeds gradually while monitoring extrusion consistency
• Tune cooling carefully—especially with PETG or TPU at higher flow rates

When to replace a hotend

• Repeated clogs or reduced flow that normal cleaning won’t fix
• Worn or damaged nozzle affecting surface quality
• Frequent switching between fine-detail and high-throughput workflows

What’s in the box

• Bambu High-Flow hotend assembly with pre-installed nozzle
• Integrated heater and temperature sensor (per variant)
• Basic installation materials

Specs (summary)

• Filament diameter: 1.75 mm
• Nozzle: size varies by selection
• Temperature: supports the rated temperature range of your printer
• Maintenance: periodic cold pulls and nozzle inspection recommended
