Upgrade your H2D to full H2C capability with the official Vortek Upgrade Kit (H2D Compatibility Pack). This advanced hardware conversion adds Bambu Lab’s intelligent hotend-swapping system, enabling high-speed multi-material printing with dramatically reduced purge waste and fully automatic filament management.

This version is for H2D only.
(H2S kit is separate and includes additional motion components.)

What Makes Vortek Different

Intelligent Hotend Swapping (Not Just Purging)

Traditional single-nozzle multi-color systems rely on purge towers to clear filament between swaps. Vortek replaces the entire hotend during material changes — reducing purge waste and producing cleaner multi-material prints.

Fully Automatic Filament Changes

Works seamlessly with Bambu Lab AMS. Filaments are automatically managed and assigned without manual loading into the toolhead.

8-Second Induction Heating

Induction heating brings the nozzle to temperature in approximately 8 seconds, minimizing downtime during material swaps.

Contactless Signal Architecture

Instead of oxidation-prone metal contact pins, Vortek uses a high-frequency contactless connection system. This improves reliability, temperature precision, and long-term stability.

Intelligent Filament-to-Hotend Allocation

Each hotend stores filament data. When printing with large material sets, the system calculates the most efficient hotend assignments to minimize waste and optimize performance.


Compatibility

• Designed specifically for H2D
• Converts H2D into H2C configuration
• Not recommended for H2D Pro (professional connectivity features not supported after upgrade)

This is not a beginner upgrade. For some users, purchasing a factory-built H2C may be more cost-effective.
