Overview

The BIQU Panda Vent RGB is an intelligent exhaust vent and riser upgrade for enclosed Bambu Lab P1, P2, X1, and X2 Series printers. It automatically opens or closes the rear exhaust vent based on the material being printed, helping retain heat for engineering materials while increasing airflow for PLA and other materials that benefit from additional cooling.

In addition to smarter chamber ventilation, the Panda Vent adds customizable RGB status lighting and raises the printer lid by 63 mm, providing improved clearance for the PTFE tube and reducing wear during printing.

Key features

Smart Automatic Vent

Works with the printer's factory exhaust fan to automatically open or close the vent depending on the material being printed—keeping heat inside when needed and exhausting warm air when additional cooling is beneficial.

RGB Status Lighting

Displays printer status with customizable RGB lighting effects, allowing you to see printing, paused, idle, and error states at a glance. Colors, brightness, and animations can all be customized through the built-in Web UI.

63 mm Riser

Raises the top glass approximately 63 mm, improving PTFE tube routing and reducing sharp bends that can contribute to friction, wear, and feeding issues.

Open-Source Design

The core module can be reused with downloadable shell files, allowing custom enclosures and future printer compatibility.

Installation

• Installs in place of the factory top vent assembly
• Uses the printer's existing exhaust fan
• Typical installation takes approximately 15–20 minutes
• P2S/X2D models without an AMS/filament buffer require the BIQU Panda Tap P2 for power.
