The CryoGrip Frostbite (Coarse) build plate is designed for maximum first-layer adhesion, helping lock down large, tall, or warp-prone prints—often at room temperature. Its aggressive surface anchors corners and edges during printing, then releases cleanly with a simple flex once cooled.

Setup & use tips

• Place on a clean magnetic base, Frostbite side up
• Run bed leveling before first use
• PLA/TPU often print unheated; increase bed temp gradually for PETG if needed
• Allow the plate to cool, then flex to release parts
• If adhesion is too strong, reduce first-layer squish or slightly lower temperatures

Care & maintenance

• Clean with blue Dawn dish soap + hot water, then towel dry thoroughly
• Avoid scrapers, abrasives, or sharp tools
• Do not use harsh solvents that may damage the surface

Notes

• Coarse texture will imprint visibly on the bottom of prints
• For smoother bottom finishes, choose CryoGrip Glacier (Fine) instead
• High-temperature engineering filaments may still require bed heat or alternate surfaces
