PETG-CF Filament — Carbon Fiber Reinforced, Clean PETG Printing
PETG-CF is a composite filament made from PETG reinforced with carbon fiber. It is engineered to reduce common PETG issues such as clumping and stringing while delivering improved strength, toughness, and dimensional stability. Compared to standard PETG, PETG-CF prints cleaner and produces parts with a refined surface finish and higher impact resistance.
This material is well suited for functional parts, drone components, racing models, and applications that require strength, flexibility, and a sleek technical appearance.
Key features
• Reduced clumping and stringing compared to standard PETG
• Carbon fiber reinforced for improved strength and toughness
• Shiny surface finish with subtle carbon fiber texture
• Higher flexibility than many carbon fiber filaments
• Reusable spool included
Compatibility
• Printers: Most 1.75 mm FDM printers
• Nozzles: Hardened steel 0.4 mm, 0.6 mm, 0.8 mm
• Build plates: Engineering Plate, High Temperature Plate, Textured PEI
• AMS: Compatible (dry filament recommended)
Not compatible / not recommended
• 0.2 mm nozzles
• Stainless steel nozzles
• Cool Plate
• AMS Lite (higher feed resistance; not ideal)
Recommended settings (starting points)
• Nozzle: 240–270 °C
• Bed: 65–75 °C, use Magigoo for an easier release
• Dry thoroughly before printing (material is moisture sensitive)
• Slower print speeds improve surface finish and shine
• Storage: Keep sealed and dry with desiccant
