PLA Matte delivers a smooth, low-gloss finish straight off the build plate. Its muted surface hides layer lines and fingerprints, giving prints a premium, professional look without sanding or painting—while printing just as easily as standard PLA.

Recommended settings (starting point)

• Nozzle: 200–220 °C
• Bed: 40–60 °C (or unheated on high-adhesion plates)
• Fan: 80–100% after first layers
• Speed: 50–200 mm/s
• Build plates: Smooth or Textured PEI
• Cleaning: Blue Dawn dish soap + hot water, towel dry

Pro tips for best matte finish

• Run slightly cooler temps for deeper matte texture
• Avoid over-extrusion—extra flow increases shine
• Keep seam placement consistent
• Skip or reduce ironing to preserve the matte look
