PLA Sparkle Filament — Subtle Metallic Shimmer

PLA Sparkle is a decorative PLA filament infused with fine sparkle additives that create a subtle metallic shimmer in finished prints. It’s ideal for display pieces, décor, cosplay parts, and models where visual impact matters—without needing paint or post-processing.

It prints much like standard PLA, with the main consideration being proper nozzle selection due to the embedded particles.

Compatibility

• Printers: Most 1.75 mm FDM printers
• Nozzles: Hardened steel 0.4 mm or larger
• Build plates: Cool Plate SuperTack, Smooth PEI, Textured PEI

Not compatible

• 0.2 mm nozzles
• Stainless steel nozzles

Recommended settings (starting points)

• Nozzle: 190–230 °C
• Bed: 35–45 °C (with glue)
• Dry before use if moisture is present
• Store sealed with desiccant
