PLA Translucent produces a soft, frosted finish that diffuses light beautifully. It’s easy to print, bonds seamlessly with standard PLA, and is ideal for lampshades, décor, windowed logos, and illuminated accent parts.

Recommended Settings (Starting Point)

• Nozzle: 205–225 °C
• Bed: 50–60 °C
• Speed: 60–120 mm/s
• Cooling: Moderate; avoid excessive fan for best diffusion

Tips for Best Glow

• Use thin walls for brighter glow, thicker walls for softer diffusion
• Slightly higher nozzle temps improve light transmission
• Slow outer walls for a cleaner frosted finish
• Mix with opaque PLA mid-print for windows, bands, or logos
