Bambu Tungsten Carbide Nozzle — H2 / P2S
Extreme Wear Resistance • High-Speed Ready • Built for Abrasive Filaments
Overview
The Bambu Tungsten Carbide Nozzle is a premium, long-life upgrade designed for printing abrasive and high-performance filaments without constant wear or degradation.
With HRA 90 hardness (far beyond hardened steel), these nozzles deliver significantly longer lifespan, consistent extrusion, and reliable performance—even with carbon fiber, glass fiber, and filled materials.
Available in Standard Flow and High Flow variants, you can choose between precision-focused printing or maximum speed and throughput.
Standard Flow vs High Flow
• Standard Flow → Maximum consistency, best for detail and everyday printing
• High Flow → Higher throughput, faster print speeds, better for production
👉 Same durability — choose based on speed vs precision
Why choose Tungsten Carbide
• Extreme durability: Significantly longer lifespan vs hardened steel
• Abrasive-ready: Handles CF, GF, glow, and filled filaments
• Consistent extrusion: Maintains accuracy over time (less wear = better prints)
• High temperature capable: Up to 350 °C
• Lower maintenance: Fewer nozzle swaps and recalibration
Nozzle size guide (quick reference)
0.4 mm
• Best balance of detail and strength
• Ideal for general use and functional parts
0.6 mm
• Faster printing with strong layer bonding
• Great for engineering materials and production
0.8 mm
• Maximum flow and strength
• Best for large, structural, or industrial parts
Nozzle size comparison
Nozzle Size: 0.4 mm

Material compatibility (highlights)
Works extremely well with:
• Carbon fiber (PLA-CF, PETG-CF, PA-CF, etc.)
• Glass fiber materials (PA6-GF, ABS-GF)
• Glow, sparkle, metal, and filled filaments
• Standard PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, PC
Limitations:
• Very soft TPU (85A) has restrictions depending on setup
• Some specialty filaments perform better at smaller nozzle sizes
Recommended use cases
• Carbon fiber and glass fiber printing
• High-wear production environments
• Engineering and industrial parts
• Users tired of replacing hardened steel nozzles
Compatibility
• Bambu Lab H2 Series
• Bambu Lab P2S
• H2D dual nozzle supported (same size required)
• H2C: Left (lifting) hotend only
