Bambu Lab Vision Encoder — Precision Motion Calibration for Large Prints

The Vision Encoder is a camera-assisted calibration accessory that improves XY motion accuracy across the entire build area. Using a high-contrast reference plate, the printer detects tiny positional deviations and applies automatic compensation—resulting in better dimensional accuracy, cleaner geometry, and more reliable long prints.

Setup & use

• Place the encoder plate as instructed and follow the on-screen calibration steps
• Ensure the plate is clean, flat, and evenly lit for accurate camera reading
• Re-run calibration after moving the printer or performing major mechanical service

• The Vision Encoder enhances motion accuracy but does not replace regular maintenance
